How city taxi began and a little about the owner

First i would like to thank all my loyal customers and staff who have made this business viable,and successful as i grew over the years.

city taxi began years ago when i seen the need for another company when brooks welcomed 500 filipinos to the community .my grandfather said to call it city taxi so that's how it began. For many years i was always the last business to call because i was new and most of brooks was set on the other 2 companies because that's all they knew. It took about 7 years before the community realized i was more dependable,and faster than the others . 

taxi driving has been most of what ive known or done my whole life but i do enjoy volunteering what extra time i have to other things.  I started volunteering with victim services in the early part of my career and then also joined an auxiliary program 

where i took hands on training for 3 days  a crash course of what takes others 6 months.i took many courses while being with victim services , which gave me an edge and knowledge to deal with people and real life situations. while with victim services i met 2 great old ladies who also worked with the organization and we also volunteered at the drumheller prison helping convicts prepare for life on the outside when they got out. i ended up being a support for one of the inmates when he got out which led me to one of my passions helping the homeless we did this for some time feeding and counselling others.today i still help out in calgary when possible through the mustard seed and the calgary dream centre .ive served on many committees for my community such as rotary and safe communities committtee as well as the the brooks drug task force to educate and prevent kids from falling into addictions and crime . after many many years of evolving and being involved in various life changing experiences i find my passion in volunteering with the local firedepartment and the homeless in calgary as well as many other countries where i find value in what i do.

 city taxi has givin me great opportunities enabling me to be able to travel  which is a great passion of mine and a wicked stress reliever from all the work it takes to run a 24 hour business.

 I do the best i can for serving the city of brooks and other communities with my taxi services, although sometimes i or my employees are not the best at times. i hope to continue serving the community through my local fire department and through my business for more years to follow
